When the students of St John’s Primary Riverstone started their primary school journey in Kindergarten, they could hardly have imagined what an unforgettable year it would be for them in Year 6!
A final year of primary school like no other, the Class of 2020 they celebrated the end of their learning journey at St John’s with fun activities, thanksgiving Mass and a graduation ceremony. Students also took the time to reflect on their primary school experiences and their hopes for the future.
St John’s Principal Patricia Charlton wished all of the graduating students luck for the future and praised students and staff for their efforts in this challenging year.
“I am so proud of how our dedicated staff adapted to a new way of teaching and learning, connecting with students and parents and finding new and creative ways of doing our work,” said Patricia. “ We wish our students all the best as they begin their secondary school journey. We know you will achieve great things.”
Congratulations to the Year 6 graduates of 2020 across all our schools!
